Shropshire Biomass Fuel Ltd is a family firm, based near Oswestry, Shropshire. We have been involved in the processing and supply of wood based livestock bedding since 2001, and in 2013 saw the opportunity to expand our range of wood products into the expanding fuel market.

Our processing facility allows us to dry and grade all bulk wood products -  dust, fines, shavings and chips. 

We have the capacity to process up to 100 tonnes of product a day

All products can be supplied to the end user either fresh or mechanically dried down to around 20% moisture. Our grading equipment allows the separation of particle sizes; for the benefit of our customers, be they boiler or CHP users, or livestock farmers. It also makes us one of the most efficient wood fuel producers in the region. Our 100 kW solar PV array provides much of the electricity used in our drying process, making us one of the greenest suppliers too.

As suppliers of wood based bedding to the livestock industry, we understand the requirements for cleanliness, consistency and meeting specifications, as well as providing an exemplary service. We take exactly the same attitude with our wood fuel products, and aim to build long term relationships with our customers.
